About Us
The P&P Foundation is an IRS-certified 501(c)3 organization based in Philadelphia. Its mission is to promote journalistic interest and visibility in the Philadelphia area, including by organizing educational events in coordination with our nonprofit partner the Pen & Pencil Club.
Who We Are
The P&P Foundation is managed by
an unpaid five-member Board of Directors.
Bobbi Booker is a veteran Philadelphia journalist and radio personality who has held prominent roles at WRTI, WHYY, and other outlets.
Chris Brennan is a columnist for USA Today and former reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News.
Danya Henninger is the editorial director of Technical.ly and a former editor of Billy Penn.
David Lee Preston is a retired reporter, columnist, and editor at The Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News. He is now working on the life stories of his parents, who were Holocaust survivors.
Sean Collins Walsh is a City Hall reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer and former reporter at the Austin American-Statesman and Philadelphia Daily News.
